Key Message
At our school, safeguarding is a top priority. We ensure that every pupil is known and supported through our robust pastoral system. Our staff are extensively trained to recognize and address safeguarding issues, working collaboratively with families and local authorities to support young people in achieving their full potential.
Our Commitment to Safeguarding
- Pastoral Care: Through our structured pastoral system, we ensure that every pupil is known and supported. This system allows us to promptly identify and address any concerns.
- Staff Training: All staff members undergo comprehensive safeguarding training to spot the signs of potential issues. Our training program is rigorous and continuous, ensuring that our staff are always prepared to act in the best interests of our pupils.
- Collaboration: We work closely with families and local authorities to provide a network of support for our students. This collaboration is essential in creating a safe and nurturing environment.
- Expert Staff: We have a range of staff who are Level 3 Child Protection trained, including:
- Mr. Fox (Principal)
- Mr. Holloway (Assistant Principal)
- Additionally, our Heads of Year undergo extensive safeguarding training to ensure they are fully equipped to support our students.
- Rigorous Recruitment: We follow strict onboarding processes to ensure our recruitment practices align with best practices in safeguarding. We take a proactive approach, recognizing that safeguarding concerns could arise and taking every step to minimize this possibility.
